And I raise my glass to Brad Childress...once a Redskin-beater, always a Redskin-beater.
And once again, right where they belong, all alone in first place...YOURRRRRR PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!

Wow, "Praise be to the" gets edited out now? Or was it "You're right, I know I should have started rooting for" that you said?

Thanks for reminding me to turn on the sportstalk980 webcast. It's always so much fun to listen to DC fans kvetch after the Redskins lose. (Almost as much fun as watching Brett Favruh spend his Sunday on the ground)

How 'Bout them Vikings!
Actually, the only reason I really care either way is that I picked Minnesota in the elimination league.

(Almost as much fun as watching Brett Favruh spend his Sunday on the ground) Oh man, did I enjoy listening to them this morning! HA! Also, Gold, just thought you might be interested to know that Farve is only 21 INTs away from becoming the all time leader in picks thrown. If he isn't there before week 16, I'm sure that the Vikes and Bears will make sure he sets the record before the season ends.

Nice symmetry there, y'know?

Nice symmetry there, y'know? No, no, no--Farve is MUCH too competative to purposefully throw an INT to Strahan! The fact they're friends has nothing to do with it! Don't you know Farve is the greatest competitor in the NFL?!

Its F-A-V-R-E, I know it doesn't sound like it, but trust me on this one. ;D

Good to know, but I doubt he'll wait that long ... at an average of 2 per game, he'll set his record against the j-e-t-s jets jets jets on Dec. 3. Jack, good thought, but the Packers don't play the Giants this year. Perhaps your Pats can overachieve and give Favruh the record on Nov. 19. edit: Apparently 11 innings of Cubs baseball tonight eliminated my ability to distinguish between a week and a year.

T Bird, you forgot to mention (as is required by law by any broadcaster during a Packer's game) that Favruh plays with unbridled joy of a child. Look at his joy! LOOK AT IT!!! I more enjoyed the pained expression all day Sunday. On another note, I there is no team I'd rather see lose (excepting the Packers) than the Redskins. I never felt that way until going to Georgetown. Those fans are the absolute worst.

Isn't this the 7th straight division loss for the Eagles? Tough game to lose, but good game to watch. Hang in there JoeHoya.

That game is just a prime example of what Philadelphia produces. Don't expect the Phillies to win the Wild Card either.

The Braves will run the table at the end of the season to win the Wild Card.

Redskins almost pulled a Georgetown in the first quarter if it weren't for some good special teams plays.
