Highlights of this year's G-Town Day - Entire basketball team getting called up to the stage and singing the Nodak's "Heart of a Hoya" with a Georgetown Band. Roy was not there - but Brandon, Ownens, and Jeff were really into it.
My personal highlight - being woken up by my roommate at 10am - he the poured me a shot of Hypnotic. G-Town day is better than Christmas.

Early highlight of Georgetown Day- DJ Owens dominating Hibbert and Crawford in the pugil sticks. Also, Roy stepping up and nailing the target with his first throw at the dunk tank. Block party it ain't, but as good clean fun goes, it was a nice lunch break for me. Good clean fun? You missed the last few hours on Healy lawn.

What were the events of the last few hours? I decided I'd celebrate Georgetown Day by going to Baltimore for the Orioles-Mariners game.

No love lost between Tay and Darrel I guess. It also occurs to me having read the HSB/007 exchange and seen a lot of these people on Friday, if anyone ever wants to write Generation Roy...waaaaaaaaaaay more interesting stories than I have to work with. It's really funny reading these old threads I have to in order to write columns and seeing the time when HB was really tiptoeing around the whole "how to work w/ alcohol" question...in the end, turned out pretty well I think. ;D I mean, Tugboat HSB didn't even grope anybody on Georgetown Day!! At least that I saw.

I knew everyone else was drunk, especially Tom, when he put me in charge and nobody stopped him.

That's funny, I knew Tom was drunk when he came up to me at the grill, cut about 70 people in line, and took about 7 hamburgers away with him... :-D Nope--I wasn't that drunk. I'm just an Edited that doesn't care about other people.
