Actually, RB there is nothing wrong with the HB membership dorm storming to talk about the student section and hand out quartersheets promoting the game and the BBQ. Also you could talk to Christy Anthony with Res Life about her promoting the event to RAs as a floor bonding activity. Also it is close enough to NSO that many Orientation Advisors might be able to get some of their new students to come out to the game as a reunion sort of thing. There are lots of ways to sell the BBQ and the game. Also, writing an editiorial in the Hoya encouraging people to come out to the game can't hurt either.

Sounds like a bunch of nice promotional ideas SPH. It would be good if we had the dorm captains in place before then so we could use them to help out, but trying to get RA's and OA's to bring their kids out to the game could definitly work. And I agree that we need to get some editorials going in our favor from The Hoya, and something encouraging people to check out the game would be a nice start.

As an OA I can seriously say that the freshmen are asking questions about the game, when it is, how they can attend, what to wear... They seem to be excited and have a lot of spirit, but that might just be my group. However, the team's bad reputation has reached them and they did ask questions such as "Is it true we are very bad? Are we going to have any wins in the Patriot League? Why aren't we 1-A?" Although hard to answer, at least they have been interested enough to know all those details.

Answers to each: "Is it true we are very bad?" No. "Are we going to have any wins in the Patriot League?" Yes. Amen to that, DFW. By the way, for those of you planning on coming to Saturday's game, they are expecting a large crowd. Just spoke to the LB and they will be checking for photo IDs at the player will call. Guess I'll have to bring my license.
