its amazing how fast people forget about the actual season. are you guys seriously talking about nikita? i spent all season wondering why he was even playing. the only reason is honestly because he hit 2 threes in the first syracuse game and JT3 wasnt feeling omar and sims at that point so he tried it out with nikita and it somehow stuck. literally the only thing he does at a big east level is hustle and feed the post. if this guy starts over hollis, sims or whoever else im going to seriously flip out.

Considering that those have been two of our issues in the past, I actually hope Nikita gets a good amount of PT. Additionallly apparently he is usually lights out from 3 in practice. Not saying that I think he should start, but he definitely should be in our top 8 rotation

Not saying that I think he should start, but he definitely should be in our top 8 rotation true - but those were only 2 of our many issue this past season. we also had general problems with shooting, dribbling and rebounding... none of which nikita is very adept at. and i dont care how he shoots in practice. he shot 26% this season from 3 and doesnt have great form on his shot (line drive with no arc) which leads me to believe things wont be turned around with more opportunities.

He is a legit 6'7(barefoot). He is up to 205 now but will be 215 by season. He is already the best shooter on the team. He just has to be ready for the big east strength and quickness. He will play mostly 3 this season. But in the future he will be able to play SG also. Hollis has the potential to be the best wing player for Georgetown this decade. Sh--! Graegle, where do you get your information? You've just shot expectations through the roof. We need that shooter.

An improved handle moves him to the 2 in the future.

hollis being able to handle the ball is key, especially with freeman moving to the 2. clark, freeman, and monroe all have to cut down on the mistakes with the ball.

I can't wait to see Hollis on the floor. Heck, I loved watching the kid on the bench this year. Loved the fire. When's midnight madness already?

Jeeze, with the slow offseason, the potential Lubick decommit, and all the crazy rumors from right after the season, I almost had a heartattack when I saw this thread had been bumped to the top. And all I got was a post saying saying he was average at best.

hollis will be a great addition on the offensive end, IF III lets him play (god knows if that'll happen). Defensively he is a little slower foot speed, but MAKES UP FOR IT with HOPS and LENGTH.... Nikita may start earlier but if he still is playing at the end of the season it means he was a GOD all year or we sucked it up AGAIN.

Does anyone else think it is hilarious that someone would spend their time to flame about THIS! It is so inconsequential. I cant imagine what spurred cali to write this, it must have been something really bad on Hollis' part.

Smart kid average at best basketball skills Your scrubs in the "Loyola" league, which happens to be called the "Mission" League, but you wouldn't know that would you?, have gone to schools like UNC, UT, 2 to Cal, USC, Vanderbilt, Stanford, the NBA? But you're right....

Let's everyone go to the pool or something. On some HoyaTalk boards, such activity is highly controversial.
