He kind of has an old man game. Can score though. Austin is at least his athletic equal. Maybe a little more athletic than Austin. Definitely a scorer.

This kid would fit in perfectly. FWIW, i'd take a 6'8" Austin Freeman any day...and so would the NBA!!

He is on campus today for an unofficial visit Great news--he told reporters in past he'd be taking his visit from 24-26th, so think he's going to be on campus or visiting most of weekend--he's got family in DC, so he can stay with them and keep coming to campus on unofficial. Play pickup with the team, good chance to get to know the guys, etc...

Saw him, Kenya Hunter, and some others heading to a table at Tombs as I was on my way out at lunch today. Hard to tell from a brief glance, but he certainly looks the part. Nice length.

TJ Warren from all sounds of things had a great unofficial to DC this past weekend and then went directly to the Kevin Durant Skills Academy in Chicago along with fellow Hoya targets, Kyle Anderson, Devonta Pollard, Troy Williams, Arnaud Moto, Marcus Hunt, Jerami Grant, and that's all I could remember off top of my head.
Warren is seeing his recruitment blow up--Kentucky and UNC have contacted him and said they'll be evaluating him in July (evaluation period starts next week where coaches can go to tournaments and watch players play games in person) and should be interesting. Georgetown has been in on TJ for a while now--he's unofficially visited at least 3 times--including once as a guest to watch a game and he's got family in DC. Also seems to have good relationship with Kyle Anderson--but then again, Kyle gets along with a ton of players which is just another reason he's such an important recruit for Georgetown and other finalists.

TJ just announced that he will play his senior season at Brewster. I consider this good news, given that Oak Hill was also said to be an option. He's also citing education as a key reason for the move. If he does really take his academics seriously, all the better for us.

Hoyas in final 7 according to ESPN:
Warren settles on summer seven T.J. Warren (Durham, N.C./Brewster Academy) recently made a significant decision. He's heading off to Brewster Academy for his senior year where he'll star alongside Mitch McGary (Chesterton, Ind./Brewster). Warren began his high school career at Durham Riverside then switched after two years to Word of God in Raleigh, N.C. Now at Brewster, he'll face a tough northern prep schedule. His collegiate recruitment could have him returning home in the fall of 2011. Warren recently trimmed his college list to seven programs: Georgetown, Florida, NC State, Louisville, Kansas, Texas and North Carolina. Each program, except the Tar Heels offered him a scholarship. The 6-foot-6 small forward with exceptional shooting touch and deep range is the son of a former NC State player.
