Balla, Have you ever heard of this kid Aaron Durley? I met him at an event for his family & little brothers team for the LLWS and I was shocked to find out he was only 15. He is going to St. Thomas in Houston. He mentioned he was being recruited by the Big 12 & UCLA (also mentioned Harvard). He is 6'10 and was a well put together kid who seemed mature enough to be a senior in college. He just moved back from Saudi Arabia so he might not be on a lot of radars.

Thanks for any info.

You talk to multiple NBA GMs?

Good post, though. Thanks for all the info.

Thanks for sharing all the info Balla. Glad to hear you enjoyed your summer.

I think a lot of us join you in thinking this is the season to sit back and enjoy, no high expectations, but plenty of great kids and potential. Personally, I think it is going to turn out very well.

Thanks, Balla.

The most encouraging thing about recruiting -- and it's been pointed out by others as well as you -- is the depth in '10. I hope we get Hairston and Smith and everyone else we want, but if we don't, it is nice to know there are other options.

The prodigal son returns! Oh joyous day! Seriously, though, welcome back, balla. You have been missed.

Outstanding. Is it balla or is it Memorex? I vote balla.

Although I think that RDF must have ghost written balla's paragraph on Kelly. ;D

I second that Tony!

Rooter--did you see the Favre attacks? That truly put a :) on my face. That and shots at ESPN--aka Favre's PR Company and Duke--which I always enjoy.

Recruiting--the film doesn't lie--and that's all I will say. Go watch people play--and once you do--no longer need to rely on opinions of those with agendas or who put more stock into a player based on the schools recruiting him--rather then the game the player possesses.
