Villanova Game Notes
Villanova could get at least one of its two injured starters back on Saturday. Wright said he was "hopeful" that scoring leader Maalik Wayns (17.8 ppg) would be able to see game action for the first time since suffering a sprained MCL in his left knee during VU's 74-72 win over Providence on Feb. 7 at the Pavilion.
James Bell, who suffered a sprained left ankle on Feb. 15 at the University of South Florida, sat out both games at the Wells Fargo Center. His status has been upgraded to doubtful for Saturday.
