I expect us to wash that bad taste out of our mouths real fast; we'll see Moses and Aaron get some time in this one.

Just give me a "W" and I'll be happy. Any BE win is a good win.

Any player(s) who don't think defensive basketball is relevant--can go sit next to assistants/Caprio Crew and watch the guys who will play defense. I'm looking specifically Jason Clark's way--because his offense output can be replaced and his defense against Notre Dame deleted. ... if it carries over to tomorrow/Monday--it's time to put him on the bench---and promote someone to starting lineup.
This team is too talented to not have guys accept roles. Clark's #1 role for this team has to be on defensive end--he can hit shots--great. But for this team to be successful--has to get after it on defense and lead there. Every year is different/demands are different. Jason has to be a great defensive player for this year's team. Otherwise--give me more Lubick, move Hollis to SF, and play Vee Sanford--who I know will get after it on defensive end.

I hope the guys want to get the bad feeling of the last game over quickly. I think they will. Can't be thinking about anything, but winning this game and getting that initial BE win.

I hope the guys don't get rid of the bad feeling all year in the sense that we lost to an inferior team twice now and that doesn't fly in the BE. I'm certain the guys know that but every game should be treated like a first round NCAA game. That's your life and death as a team that day. Silver linings are for teams that don't play as well as they can. We have a lot of weapons and we can adapt to what's working on any given day. It's not good enough earn respect early and try to get by on it later. It's also not good enough to rely on reputation (hi MSU, Gonzaga, et al). Earn your respect every day. Show em who you are Hoyas!

He is just a spot up 3 point shooter with a shaky handle. I cant believe some people on this board think he is pro material. Every major college team has a Jason Clark type player. I asked Billy King, the NJ nets Gm what he thought about Clark.....He scratched his head and said WHO?

Well, I mean, when I think of GM's that are great at identifying quality NBA talent I think of Billy King. Has he figured out who might help Iverson win a title yet?

The key to successful BE play is the ability to learn and MOVE ON. No one is going to go unbeaten - you got to quickly get over it and give it your better than best shot next game!

The Hoyas better recognize that Depaul has had a major upgrade in talent this year--not on the floor but at the coaching position. Purnell is no slouch and he will have his team ready to play. Hoyas may be surprised at how hard this game is today. Let's hope they are watching what the "lower echelon" of the Big East has been doing in other games this year.

DePaul has some talent, but it's really young, and they are pretty bad. I just don't want to be one of their two wins in conference this year.

Can someone explain why these young men are being asked to play this game on a holiday? The students are at home and attendance will be down, so it was not for the local fanbase. The game is not being picked up by Espn as part of their holiday package, so those of us who do not live in area won't see the game, so there is no TV money for the league or school. I know its a big league and you have to schedule 18 games, but this game could not have been sqeezed into some other slot so that these young men could not spend the holidays with their families if their is no benefit for the schoool or fanfase? This is my vent for not being able to watch this game. Its selfish, but, a holiday game with very limited TV coverage?
