Excellent film that goes far beyond basketball. Because the director is from Hampton, he was able to use numerous hometown connections in telling the story. Had the opportunity to see it last week with a post-screening discussion featuring the director, Steve James. Told him that we enjoyed watching the documentary, though we did not like seeing Iverson depicted in college jerseys other than Georgetown's.

Also attended the screening at AFI last week and thoroughly enjoyed the film. I attended Hampton U. around that time and it really took me back.
James did an admirable job with the material, although I think he could have explored the reason why A.I. is such a cultural force and why so many people are enamored with him to this day. Otherwise, excellent film.

This is correct. Looks like we will have to wait another week. The "Guru of Go" episode, about Loyola Marymount in the late 80's to 1990 with the Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble story, debuted this past Saturday but will be played again this Tuesday at 11pm on ESPN2. Would definitely like to catch some of that.
